Returns Policy

Free & Easy Returns Policy

  • This Returns Policy applies to all purchases made through the Daraz platform.
  • Customers can filr a return on any item purchased from Daraz but only selected items can be returned (as per the case), and the requests can be submitted through the platform. This Policy helps customers and sellers understand the conditions for such returns and how Daraz processes the return requests.
  • Daraz reserve the right to amend, vary or modify these terms at any time, without giving prior notice to the customers and the sellers.
  • The return request must be raised within 14 days from the date of delivery (for all items).
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that the correct item is properly packed and returned, along with any included gifts, accessories, or peripherals, if applicable. If an incorrect or incomplete return is sent to the seller or Daraz, customers will not receive the replacement item; they'll have to place a new order.
  • All Daraz Mall items are 100% authentic and covered under the 3x Money Back Guarantee.
  • Groceries and Digital Goods are excluded from the 3x Money Back Guarantee.

Change Of Mind Policy

One of the return reasons available to you is 'I don't want this item anymore,' which means you're returning the product because it is no longer needed. This can cover situations like a delay in delivery, a change of mind, or finding the same product at a better price elsewhere. However, this reason doesn't apply to every product category.

You can return eligible items within the specified return period, as long as they meet the conditions outlined in our Change of Mind Returns policy. For clarity, items that qualify for Change of Mind returns will be clearly mentioned on their Product Description Page (PDP). However, please note that items listed as non-returnable are not eligible for Change of Mind returns. We’re here to help ensure your shopping experience is hassle-free!

To make things easier for you, the table below gives a general overview of the categories where Change of Mind returns may be acceptable. However, some sub-categories may have exceptions. We strongly urge customers to check the Product Display Page (PDP) carefully before placing your order to avoid any confusion.

Please note that within the 'Applicable' section, some sub-categories may have exceptions to this policy. We recommend checking the Product Display Page carefully before placing your order to avoid any confusion.

At Daraz, we also have specific policies that are applicable to "Chaneg of Mind" categories only and are crucial to the overall return journey.

  • For fashion items (clothing, shoes, watches, jewelry, bags), packaging can be opened but items should be returned with the original packaging and in resaleable condition. Fashion items should be returned with all original labels and tags.
  • For electronics, including but not limited to mobile phones, computers, laptops etc all documentation and warranty cards must be returned.
  • For mobile phones, computers and laptops, with brand warranty, you may raise a return request directly with Daraz if the device is dead on arrival (i.e. does not switch on completely). If the mobile phone has already been activated, please contact the seller or brand warranty provider directly for information regarding the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Mobile phone is considered activated once SIM card has been inserted or when the phone has been connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. For any software-related technical issues or installation issues, please contact the brand warranty provider directly for information regarding the manufacturer's warranty.
  • For device-related issues after usage or expiration of return policy period, please check if the item is covered under Seller or Brand Warranty. Refer to our Warranty Policy for information on the different warranty types and ways to contact the seller/manufacturer.

Non-Returnable Category

There are some products offered on Daraz which come under the non-returnable category. This means the following things:

  1. If you file a return on any of these products (and the return is approved), you won't have to send the product back for a Quality Check. You'll be refunded back the amount you spent on it.
  2. When filing a return, you will, however, have to provide proof in the form of pictures and videos to support your return claim.

Note: For products under this category (e.g., acne creams, groceries, intimate wear), you can file a return on any reason except for "I don't want the item anymore".

For more information view the complete list of non-returnable items.

Expiry Policy

At Daraz, we aim to provide you with complete transparency regarding our policies. The Expiry Policy outlines the duration and validity of the products that are offered by Daraz. By understanding the timelines and valid usage periods, you can make the most of your shopping experience with us. Please review the details below to ensure you stay informed about any applicable expiration terms for your orders or benefits.

Expiry policy applies to two categories; expired products, and near-to-expiry products.

  • Expired Products: Any product that has been received by the customer after its "expiration date" or "best before date" has passed will be categorized as an expired product, and is eligible for a return.
  • Near-to-expiry Products: Near to expiry refers to a product or item that is approaching its expiration date. This means the product is still within its valid usage period but has limited time remaining before it expires and may no longer meet safety, quality, or usability standards. However, as per the below list, the following category products are eligible for returns under near-to-expiry if their timeline criteria has been met.

For the following categories, the near-to-expiry timeline criteria is within 20 days of receiving the product; Bakery, Baking & Cooking, Beverages, Breakfast, Candy & Chocolate, Canned, Dry & Pacakged Foods, Dairy & Chilled, and Snacks. Please note that some sub-categories may have exceptions to this near-to-expiry timeline. We strongly urge customers to check the Product Display Page (PDP) carefully before placing your order to avoid any confusion.

All the other categories' near-to-expiry timeline criteria is set to within 30 days of receiving the product.

Foreign Objects

Any items or any foreign object incorrectly returned and sent to Daraz may not be returned.

Foreign object refers to any item that isn't originally Daraz's item, was not sent by Daraz to the customer, and is not owned by Daraz as well. For example, while returning a mobile phone ordered from Daraz, a customer mistakenly sends the product back with a mobile cover on then that mobile cover will be counted as a foreign product, and will be treated as such.

Daraz does not store such Foreign Objects and any objects may be disposed or handled appropriately at the sole discretion of Daraz without notice. The customer may not receive compensation of any kind from Daraz for Foreign Objects and the customer may not claim against Daraz arising from Foreign Objects incorrectly included in customer’s returned parcel.
